The "Waldner 900" from the renowned table tennis brand Donic-Schildkröt, is a very high-quality bat for ambitious attack players - from recreational players to competition participants. Named after the swedish exceptional player Jan-Ove Waldner, who is considered to be the best player of all time in the history of this sport, the Waldner 900 is equipped with real competition wood, allowing maximum fun and promises maximum performance. The so-called "Ergo handle" was adopted from the competition area,in wich the transition from the clubface to the handle is smooth and there are no edges causing pressure points on the index finger. The bat lies optimally in the hand and the transition from forehand to backhand (or vice versa) can be done very quickly, wich is a clear advantage in such a fast-paced sport as table tennis. The ITTF-approved Alpha Slick rubber covering, is very grippy, ensuring a strong "spin" and all other playing techniques can be safely transferred to the ball. The 2.1mm thick sponge also ensures a lot of power (the thicker the sponge, the more self-acceleration the bat has). The so-called "Adjustable Balance Point" technology (ADP) allows the customization of the game features according to the wishes of the player: by changing the center of gravity of the bat, the Power & Ball control can be fine-tuned accordingly. This bat comes in a protective blister pack. Due to its graded material compositions and features, the Waldner series products by Donic-Schildkröt, are available in the top segment as well as in attractive price ranges, for the ambitious table tennis players of all levels. The Waldner 900 model is a high quality versatile version. The name-giving and exceptional player Jan-Ove Waldner from Sweden, is considered to have been the best player of all time in the history of table tennis.
The “Waldner 800” from Donic-Schildkröt was developed in Germany and is a racket of absolute top quality for ambitious recreational players and regular hobby play. Based on the high-quality “Tactik” wood, this racket is equipped with the competition-adapted “ERGO Handle” technology: this rounded handle construction sits significantly better in the hand than conventional classic rackets and avoids pressure points on the index finger. The ITTF-approved Vari-Slick rubber from Schildkröt ensures good grip, i.e. spin acceptance and good transfer of all other playing techniques to the ball. The relatively thick 2.0 mm sponge offers optimal power for quick plays, so that the Waldner 800 provides a lot of fun to a large target group, from ambitious beginners to club players. The “Adjustable Balance Point” technology (“ABP” for short) built into the handle allows for individual adjustment of the center of gravity of the racket; in just a few simple steps, the balance point can be varied as follows: head-heavy = more power or handle-heavy = more ball control & spin ( synonymous with spin acceptance).
